Description

No 58-62 Watergate Street is a terrace of five 19th century townhouses with combined undercrofts on the site of the former Mainwaring Mansion. It was built in 1852 to the design of Edward Hodkinson in brown Flemish bond brick with stucco, sandstone and blue brick dressings. The whole is four storeys including the undercrofts which have brick barrel vaults and may be earlier. (2)
