Description
Stanley Street, 1845: Brief reference to the discovery of colonnades from the Stanley Street area (1). Another reference states the colonade was at the junction of Stanley St. And Watergate St North (2). Two columns were recorded at a depth of around 60cm, they appear to have been on a north-south alignment crossing Stanley Street, probably accounting for the confusion in the location (3).
