Description

Park Rd, 1852: A stone cist containing a lead coffin and a child's skeleton was found near the gate leading to Chivas' Nursery (2). West of Eaton Rd., 1852: during the construction of 'the Villas' on the west side of Eaton Rd in 1852, at an unspecified location, a large number of cremation burials, coins, pottery, in addition to a rare lead urn (containing cremated human remains), and part of a monumental stone were all recovered (4).
