Description
A watching brief monitoring the cutting of a trench to provide footings for a new extension to Crispin House, 56 Nicholas St., Chester, on 8 July 2009. The trench was cut to a depth of 2.1m and was through made ground relating to various building activities dating between 1872 to 1974, including brick and plaster rubble fragments and a ceramic drain.
