Description
An archaeological watching brief was undertaken during excavation of foundations for a new farestry shed and associated storage facilities at the Eaton Yard. The site is part of the Grosvenor Estate and is situated at the southern end of the medieval nucleated village of Aldford. No artefacts or deposits of archaeological merit were observed.
