Description
The groundworks were all carried out by hand with a shovel. An area measuring 7m by 1.2m was stripped of topsoil to a maximum depth of 0.05m below ground level. Four trenches were then excavated within this area measuring 0.5m by 0.5m to a depth of 0.4m. No features were recorded during the works and no finds were recovered.
