Description
Report describing the results of a programme of evaluation trenching, fieldwalking and shovel testing on land to the south of the Roman camp at Bent Farm camp (SM 25716) into which it is proposed to extend mineral extraction. The fieldwork showed that the camp did not extend into the application area although a number of unrelated features were detected and a watching brief will be maintained if development proceeds.
