Description
An archaeological desk based assessment relating to a planning application for developments at Chester Zoo. 52 archaeological sites were identified in the study area. (The polygon shown on HER reflects the application area. The study area was larger than this and covered circa 1km from the boundary of the land owned by Chester Zoo). Three sites that will not be impacted are within the proposed Heart of Africa attraction area. Proposals for a mitigation strategy were identified.
