Description
An archaeological watching brief during groundworks beside the Manchester Ship Canal at Old Quay, Runcorn, Cheshire. The groundworks consisted of two trenches, one exposed the landward side of the 19th century quayside wall and infill of the original inlet, the exposed the quayside wall and two associated crane bases.
