Summary of previous archaeological evidence from the Northgate redevelopment area. Reads much like a desk based assessment however it only concentrates on the archaeological evidence of the city gathered from published articles, excavation reports, unpublished site archives held by Chester Archaeology as well as the known evidence of the author.
