Description
Visit to examine area stripped of topsoil as part of new marina development.
Nothing on the CHER But development extends over 6 ha. Site visited, therefore, to check stripped areas for evidence of archaeological activity. Site very wet at time of visit and observational conditions very bad. Nothing noted. New drainage ditch around the site revealed only topsoil and boulder clay.
