Description
Visit to examine strata in foundation trenches of new extension.
Foundation trenches for rear extension cut to 1 metre at time of visit. Much disturbance due to service trenches. Natural sand seen in places at very base of trench. Elsewhere modern distrubance and/ or a sandy topsoil. No evidence of archaeological deposits or finds of interest.
