Description
An archaeological desk-based assessment was produced in 2004 for land at Bank Park, Warrington, in advance of development including the construction of a new Magistrates Court. Post medieval deposits survive relating to Bank Hall Park, constructed in the mid eighteenth century, also buildings to the east of Kendrick Street. The Bank Hall deposits consist of an in-filled fishpond, a glasshouse (still partially standing), and a demolished structure (possibly a pump house). The buildings at Kendrick Street consist of nineteenth century terraces constructed shortly after the railway immediately to the north. (1)
