Description
An archaeological desk-based assessment was undertaken in 2004 for land at Tipkinder Park, Crewe. There is some evidence of activity from the post medieval date. The site is a former tip which was reclaimed during the 1980's. Borehole data from the site records 2-6m + of made ground. There is potential for archaeological deposits to have been sealed beneath the tipped refuse. (1)
