Description

An archaeological evaluation was undertaken in 2003 associated with the construction of the Woore Ash Service Reservoir to Vyrnwy Aqueduct Pipeline passing through Cheshire and Shropshire. Two sections of the pipeline easement were observed at Coole Hall Farm kiln site and earthworks, also Brook House cottages and crofts. Other sites were subject to a watching brief during topsoil stripping along the line of the pipeline. (1)
