Description
A geophysical survey, comprising magnetic scanning, was undertaken in 2003, for an area of approximately 16ha, the proposed site of a warehouse development at Basford Sidings, to the south-east of Crewe. Although some areas of magnetic disturbance were identified, they are thought to be of recent origin, including the infilling of small ponds and some linear anomalies of agricultural origin. (1)
