Please read our guidance about the use of Cheshire Historic Environment Record data.
Technique(s)
Organisation
Earthworks Archaeological Services
Date
January 2003
Description
The evaluation consisted of a rapid desk top study followed by the excavation of three trial trenches. A large ditch was observed close to the southern boundary of the site containing pottery of 13th-14th centuries. Elsewhere considerable modern and post med disturbance was noted, however there remains a good potential for archaeological features of a Roman and medieval date.
