Description
Survey carried out during the demolition of the first floor party wall between 63 and 69 Bridge Street Row. It was concluded that the wall to be demolished dated to the eighteenth century, but was built up against the sixteenth century wall of the adjacent property. The demolition process revealed that the sixteenth century wall contained traces of medieval architecture. The results of this survey in conjunction with that of 71 - 73 Bridge Street Row have led to a tentative suggestion of phased development for this section of the street.
