Description
A watching brief monitoring the excavation of a lift pit and pile caps, in addition to works associated with locating and lowering existing services, at the site of 25 Nicholas St., carried out in June 2001. A possible cellar fill was identified, which produced material of a late seventeenth century date. No other archaeological features or material were reported.
