Description
An archaeological watching brief was undertaken in November 2000 and February 2001 during ground disturbance works for a housing development at Whitegate, Cheshire. The site lies immediately adjacent to the scheduled monument Vale Royal Abbey. No archaeologically significant deposits or artefacts were recorded. (1)
