Site Event/Activity record ECH3875 - Cronkinson Farm Sewer Requisition, Nantwich, Cheshire: An Archaeological Assessment

An archaeological assessment comprising a desk-based study and field inspection was undertaken in 1999 for the proposed Cronkinson Farm Sewer Requisition, Nantwich. The field inspection included a walkover along a 20m corridor centred on the proposed pipelines, together with a more limited inspection of a larger study area measuring 1km wide, again centred on the course of the pipelines. The assessment identified over 70 sites dating from the medieval period and mostly consisting of buildings or ridge and furrow earthworks. (1)
