Description
An archaeological desk-based assessment was produced in 2001 for a greenfield site of circa 17ha area, at Lostock Gralam. The site lies adjacent to the known line of a Roman road which is thought to underly the modern road. Lostock Gralam originated as a hamlet and expanded during the late Victorian period. (1)
