Description
An archaeological evaluation was undertaken in 2000 at Land at the Old Mill, Prestbury. Evaluation comprised the excavation and recording of six evaluation trenches. No significant archaeological features were identified during the course of the evaluation. A number of features relating to the use of the site as a mill complex during the late post medieval and early modern period were identified, including a concrete wharf and a cobbled surface. (1)
