Description
A watching brief undertaken during the construction of 700m gas pipeline. Upstanding ridge and furrow was noted at the north western end of the pipeline. A filled ditch or drain of post-medieval date was also noted in OS Field number 9239. No signs of the Roman Road or other archaeological feature were observed.
