Description
Archaeological watvhing brief conducted during groundworks for a programme of residential development at Candelan way, High Legh.
The Line of a Roman road is known to run through the centre of the site. The obervations indicated that the redevelopment plot had been extensively disturbed during the recent past and no archaeological remains associated with the line of the Roman road were noted. A brief record of the deposits found on the site were made.
