Description
Archaeological evaluation undertaken in 1997 at Bache Pool, Upton, thought to be a site of prehistoric and Roman activity. Three hand-dug trenches were excavated, together with the observation of a geotechnical investigation undertaken by the developer. Although prehistoric, Roman and medieval finds were recovered, no evidence was found of in situ archaeological deposits. (1)
