Description
Archaeological trial trenches undertaken in advance of an extension on the west side of The Old Hall, Nether Alderley. Three trenches, each measuring no more than 1m by 3m, were manually excavated, located close to the building line of the proposed extension. Results demonstrated the existence of archaeological features and deposits, although none which were demonstrably earlier than the 18th century. (1)
