Site Event/Activity record ECH3548 - Warrington Northern Expressway: Environmental Impact Assessment- Archaeological and Historical Assessment.

Desk-based archaeological assessment for the proposed route of the Warrington Northern Expressway, due to pass approximately 1.5km from the medieval town centre. Much of the area of the route of the road lies within a 13th century deer park which was later enclosed and improved from the 16th century. The route was found to have no or little archaeological impact. (1)
