Description

A continued programme of repairs and maintenance to the North City Wall was carried out between 1890 and 1892, this was an extension of two earlier phases of work in 1883 (ECH2374) and 1887 (ECH2375). A large quantity of Roman inscribed tombstones and altars were recovered (1).
