Description
Investigation of the site included an assessment of the availble documentary sources, a resitivity survey of the moat platform, field artefact collection, hedgrerow dating. Cores were taken from the drained moat for palynological assessment. No excavation was undertaken due to the level of biological distrurbance evident on the site.
