Description

Lower Bridge Street, February: During the renewal of the main sewer the top of a substantial sandstone wall was recorded at a depth of 7ft. A section some 20ft in length was recorded (1). Foregate Street, January: small quantity of Roman pottery recorded during work on the premises of WH Smith (1).
