Description

Infirmary Field, 1858: found in the northwest corner of the field near the City Walls. A small earthenware Roman lamp (1). Numerous tiled Roman graves recorded during the construction of a railway siding in Infirmary Field. Cemetery included inhumations and cremation urns (1) (2) (3) (4).
