Description
Quay Wall, Dee Stands: By 1909, the Quay Wall had been traced in an unbroken section as far as the "Roodee Keeper's Lodge" near the Watergate. Although the nature of these excavations is uncertain, it can be presumed to have been some kind of construction work. The Wall had previously been investigated in 1866. Roman bronze from excavations (1, 2).
