Description

In the course of the examination of the Northgate Brewery site the cellars of the buildings at 24 and 26 King St. were examined closely. Thorough cleaning of the masonry suggested that these structures are somewhat earlier in date than the extant buildings above. It is possible that they may date to the late medieval period. This survey included the compilation of a complete photographic record (1)
