Water Tower,
Warrington Road,
WA16 0RS.
This Water Tower was built in the 1930’s to assist local water pressure. The late Lord Grey granted permission for the Water Board to use some of his land to build it. It is of an octagonal shape, constructed in the Art Deco style.
Building methods feature smooth render with art deco detailing and bull’s eye windows on each side of the building
