Town house now offices. c1780 altered. Brown Flemish bond brickwork with grey slate roof. EXTERIOR: 3 storeys, slightly lower than its neighbours. Painted stone plinth has a barred opening to cellar; recessed porch to east has 2 steps to 5-panel door, with top panel glazed, and a cast-iron radial-bar fanlight; timber case to porch, damaged at foot, has roses at corners of architrave and a moulded hood. 2 windows to each storey; replaced recessed 3-pane sashes to first storey, replaced 2-pane sashes to second storey and flush unequal sashes to third storey, now with 2 rows of 2 panes in lower leaves and one row of 4 panes in upper leaf; modillion cornice; a west ridge chimney. The brickwork is continuous with No.1 Stanley Street (qv). The rear has a projecting stairwell with a tall 18-pane sash, east, and a 12-pane sash to each storey; there is a small monopitch outshut behind the stairwell. INTERIOR: the first storey front room has a door of 5 fielded panels, panelled embrasures, cupboards with fluted friezes to each side of blocked chimney breast; a small cornice. Stone steps to cellar, parts with brick barrel-vaulted ceilings; sandstone party wall to No.94 Street (qv). The stair to second and third storeys is covered. The second storey has doors of 5 fielded panels, panelled embrasures and a plaster cornice. The third storey could not be inspected.
