Includes: No.14 GROSVENOR STREET. 4 small town houses, now 2 town houses and a restaurant which occupies No.14 Grosvenor Street and No.1 Cuppin Street. Brown Flemish bond brick to Cuppin Street and west end to Union Place; partly repaired and painted brick to Grosvenor Street, east. The face to Cuppin Street has the north end of No.14 Grosvenor Street and the fronts of No.1 (1-bay), No.3 (double-fronted) and No.5 (1-bay). 3 storeys. Painted sandstone plinth; 3 timber doorcases with simple pilasters, friezes and cornices; doors of 6 flush panels, 4 recessed panels and 6 flush panels respectively; 4 recessed sashes to each storey, of 16 panes with painted stone sills and wedge lintels to first and second storeys; 12-pane to third storey, immediately below eaves; 2 cast-iron rainwater pipes and heads; plain stone coping at eaves; 2 ridge chimneys. The face to Grosvenor Street has altered lower storey with a pair of part-glazed doors, 2 segmental-arched shop windows south of doors and one north; upper storeys painted; 2 recessed 16-pane sashes with stone sills and wedge lintels to second storey; two 12-pane unequal sashes immediately below eaves to third storey. The west end has a blocked sash-opening to each storey. The rear has no visible features of special interest. INTERIOR: the interior of the restaurant has no visible features of special interest; the interiors of Nos 3 & 5 Cuppin Street not inspected. No.16 Grosvenor Street (qv) forms part of the restaurant.
