Town house, now hotel. Probably early C19. Flemish bond brown brick, with pale headers to east wing; grey slate roof. Cellar and 3 storeys. Brick plinth; the east wing has grilles over cellar vent. 7 repaired stone steps to replaced 4-panel part-glazed door with simple overlight in recessed porch with simple pilastered case; a recessed 16-pane sash east; a later canted projecting bay, west, has a recessed sash, now 4-pane, in each face. Similar windows, plus a recessed 12-pane sash above doorway, to the second storey; similar fenestration but with each window shorter to the third storey. A simple cornice to the front; hipped roof; a low 2-storey wing to the west. INTERIOR not inspected.
