GV II
Bandstand. c1880. At the expense of Charles Brown of the department store Browns of Chester. Yellow sandstone and cast-iron; grey slate roof. Octagonal; ashlar plinth; cast-iron plinth with wavy bars and ornamental panels of C17 inspiration; 8 slender moulded cast-iron columns; ornate brackets; boarded ceiling; hipped roof with ornate cast-iron finial. The plinth contains a store-room with covered door but no windows.
