CHESTER CITY (EM) SJ4066 QUEEN'S PLACE 1932-1/6/239 (East side) 10/01/72 No.6 (Formerly Listed as: QUEEN STREET No.45) GV II Town house. c1770. Flemish bond brown brick with grey slate roof. 3 storeys, probably plus cellar; one bay. Stone plinth with cellar vents; stone step to door of 5 fielded panels with 3-pane overlight in fluted Roman Doric doorcase with frieze and pediment. Flush tripartite sashes, one per storey, with painted stone sills and wedge lintels; of 4;12;4-panes to ground floor; 4;12;4-pane Palladian window with 3-pane fan; 4-pane to first floor; of 3;9;3-panes to second floor; cast-iron rainwater pipe and head, right; chimney, left. Deep rectangular plan. The right side towards rear has a tripartite sash to ground floor, glazing bars removed; a 12-pane flush sash to first floor; a sash with bars removed to second floor. Flush sashes of 16, 12 and 6 panes to rear. Chimney on rear slope of roof. INTERIOR not inspected. Listing NGR: SJ4083266597
