Description

CHESTER CITY (EM) SJ4065 PYECROFT STREET 1932-1/8/230 (West side) 15/08/89 No.2 GV II Small house. c1850. Brown brick, in Flemish bond with paler headers to the front; grey slate roof. Late Georgian in character. 2 storeys. Plain painted plinth, probably of sandstone; replaced door under a plain overlight in a wooden doorcase with a flat hood of Classical derivation, to the right. The sashes are recessed with painted stone sills and wedge lintels; one of 16 panes and one of 12 panes left of the door and three of 12 panes to the upper storey. Brick chimneys. INTERIOR not inspected. Attached to this item are a row of cottages in Overleigh Road, which are not included in this, or any other item. Listing NGR: SJ4066965392
