SJ4065 OVERLEIGH ROAD 1932-1/8/216 (North side) Bridge over Drive, in north part of Overleigh Cemetery

Bridge and retaining walls. c1848. By TM Penson. Red sandstone. Semicircular arch springing from just above drive level, with drystone retaining walls to the cutting. Span of arch approx 3m. The bridge forms part of the picturesque layout of the cemetery which has sandstone outcrops on which mid C19 tombs and monuments stand amidst groves of trees.
