BEESTON C.P. (Off) HORSLEY LANE SJ 55 NW 5/16 Bathing House
GV II Bathing house. Late C19. Stone, brick and timber-framed. Two storeys. Pool front: Stone buttress to far right with offsets. Timber-framed hut to left of this with four posts to ground floor loggia with angle braces and balustrades with splat balusters to either side of open central bay which has 4 steps leading up to it. To the left within the loggia is a clapboarded pumping house erected c.1940. The first floor and gable are decoratively timber-framed. A stone wall extends to the left. The right hand wall is of sandstone and the rear is of brick with a wooden loft door to the centre of the first floor. C17 panelling originally lined the loggia and survives within the pumping house.
