MALPAS C.P. GREENWAY LANE SJ 44 NE (North West Side) 2/59 Brose Lake Farmhouse 27/3/1981 II
Farmhouse, now a house, exterior circa 1820 but with probably late C17 features inside. English garden wall bond brown brickwork; grey slate roof. 2 storeys; 3 windows; slightly lengthened to right under continuous roof, probably mid C19, and extended to rear under a catslide roof. 5 stone steps to doorway with boarded door under plain rectangular fanlight, 16-pane flush sashes to lower storey; 12-pane unequal sashes to bedrooms. Flush gable chimneys. Interior. Brick cellar. The former rear wall (to front of rear extension) and side walls to stairwell are of oak small framing. Oak dog-leg stair. 2-panel door of oak to right bedroom.
