SJ 45 NE TATTENHALL C.P. CHURCH BANK (West Side)
5/100 National Westminster Bank and house adjoining 1/3/1967 to the south. (formerly listed as Black and GV II White Cottage under Tattenhall Village)
Formerly farmhouse, now house and bank: C17 with C20 alterations. Timber-framed with brick nogging on a stone plinth. Welsh slate roof and 2 brick ridge chimneys. Rectangular plan with crosswing at left end. 1½-storey, 5-bay front. Windows are C20 casements with glazing bars and at right end, large window to bank. 2 C20 doors, 1 with trelliswork porch. Shaped barge boards to crosswing and 2 gabled dormers. Right gable has a full collar and tiebeam truss with passing braces.
