ALDERSEY C.P. ALDERSEY LANE Manor Cottage
(Formerly listed as Songer, ALDERSEY GREEN LANE (West Side))
II House, probably mid C18, altered circa 1930. Brown brick (English garden wall bond) with plain band at first floor. Grey slate roof has stone parapet gables with kneelers; flush gable chimneys of brick. Symmetrical front of two storeys and two windows. Six-pane casements of C19 vernacular type under skewback brick arches. Attic windows in gables. Door of six raised and fielded panels.
Interior: ingle-nook fireplace (against gable) and chamfered oak beam in left room. Plain stair.
