5/26 L-shaped farm building 30m east of Ivy Bank Farmhouse
GV II
Farm building of varied function: early C18 with C19 and C20 alterations. Irregular bond orange brick, Welsh slate roof. L-shaped plan. North front of south range (a former threshing barn), has large pair of wooden doors under a wooden lintel and 2 openings at ground floor under segmental brick heads and square pitchholes above. Some blocked vertical ventilation slots. Lower east range (a former shippon and hayloft) has a west front with large opening under a wooden lintel and a flight of external steps to a 1st floor with 2 square pitchholes and a line of ventilation slots above. Listed for group value only.
