Formerly small manor house, now house: late C16/early Cl7, with later C18 and mid Cl9 alterations and additions. Partly timber-framed, but exterior now stuccoed, Welsh slate roof and 1 gable brick chimney. Originally lobby entry plan, now 2 parallel ranges. 2-storey, 4-bay front. Stone-coped plinth. Has 3 gables with planted timbers and pierced barge boards. Windows are 2 or 3-light wooden casements, one in 2nd bay with hood mould. Left end has canted bay window and 3rd bay on internal porch approached by 3 stone steps with 5-panelled door in wooden architrave to left. Interior: original timber framed rear wall partly revealed with tall rectangular framing and angle braces. Plain bressumer over former central fireplace now containing late Cl8 cast-iron basket grate. Exposed ceiling beams and joists. Late C18 oak staircase with turned column balusters, moulded handrail and square newels. Plain panelling in the well. Tiebeam and collar truss with diagonal braces, and wind-braced trenched purlins.
