3/47 Stretton Mill Stable
GV II
Stable converted to information centre for the cornmill, 1813, altered internally, of coursed tooled sandstone with graded grey slate roof. 2 storeys. Broad camber-arched doorway with datestone over; divided boarded door; leanto stone-walled, slate-roofed wc added at rear, in keeping. Interior: stable floor of brick; rebuilt stair -to left; reused oak beams support loft floor; purlins formed from trunks of oak-trees; roughly formed collar and struts of oak.
