Description

SJ 35 NE PULFORD C.P. OFF WREXHAM ROAD (East side) 5/159 Old Rectory and Outbuilding II Square house of circa 1800 altered and extended north in mid C19. Brown brick in English garden wall bond with hipped grey slate roof. Two storeys with 3 bays to south and west fronts, with small-pane sashes under label-mould lintels of sandstone. North extension of 2½ storeys with 5 Gothick cast iron casements in openings with gauged brick flat arches. Interior. Open-well staircase with swept mahogany rail on square balusters. Six-panel doors with bolection moulds. Simple, probably original, iron grates in upper rooms. Walled yard, attached, to north with former wash-house and baking oven. Listing NGR: SJ3760158707
